Veil – non woven

Veils are non-woven light weight structures that are used in composite to improve surface structure aesthetic and performances. MCtechnics delivers the following 3 main families:

• POLYESTER VEIL:
  Used to improve surface aesthetic by reducing the print through of the reinforcement. 
• GLASS VEIL: 
  Used to improve surface aesthetic by reducing the print through of the reinforcement. Veil based on C-glass is standard. E and ECR glass veil available upon request.
• PAN VEIL: 
  Polyacrylonitril veil are used as surfacing veil for application requiring a very high chemical resistance. The PAN veil will be used as a protective layer as the binder will not be soluble in styrene.
